Salt of the Earth

Network

a celebration of salt
and other gifts from God

We, with local churches, schools, museums, and other groups are coming together under the Bishop of Birkenhead to celebrate SALT.
We've held three successful annual Salt Celebrations to date.

The fourth is being planned for
Rogation Sunday,
13th May 2012

We're fanatical about science, especially when it comes to salt.
We're also intrigued by our industrial heritage and what the future holds in store;
and concerned to care for this creation and use our resources wisely.

Salt Sunday No 1 - 2009

It was a lovely dry day
until the Bishop arrived.
We'd started making salt from brine -
we finished making brine from salt!
